 How Do You Find The Number of Squares In a Figure?

There are a lot of math problems that ask you how many squares you can make in this figure, and they generally take quite some time. But is there a quicker way to solve them?


The answer to that question is yes, there is a quicker way. That is the method I will teach today. The steps to the method are simple.

1. Find out how many rows and columns there are in the figure.



2. Multiply the rows and columns by each other, then subtract 1 from both and multiply again. Repeat till the product is 0.


3. Add up all the products you got to get your final answer.
